Associação Escola Ténis de Almada (ETAlmada) is a tennis club located in Almada, Portugal. We are dedicated to providing a welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels to learn, improve, and enjoy tennis, fostering a vibrant community and aiming to develop champions through excellent coaching.

We offer two outdoor hard tennis courts, both equipped with lighting for evening play. Court rental & Racket Stringing is also available.

Children attending lessons should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate tennis shoes. A hat for sun protection is also advisable for outdoor sessions. While children are welcome to bring their own rackets, the club can provide rackets on-site for those who do not have one.

As we operate outdoor courts, our policy for inclement weather is as follows:
Rain: Any rain cancellations will be Communicated through personal message
Heat: If the heat index is predicted significantly high, all classes will be canceled for the day. Cancellations will be made the day before (if possible) and posted Announced through our Social media & Personal messaging.
Lightning: If lightning occurs during lessons, classes will be postponed, and coaches will take kids to the closest sheltered area. Play will resume if the storm clears and it is no longer raining.
No, membership is not required to avail court rentals or coaching lessons. However, our tournaments and summer camps require pre-registration.
Members can reserve courts online after making request. After logging into your online account, you can view available court times up to 6 days out by clicking on "Reserve a Court." Simply select the desired court time and follow the prompts to get us informed. We will contact you as soon as we can to complete booking.
